Youtube Analytics Source connector issue

I am trying to create youtube analytics source but it fails due to error 'The Youtube account is not valid. Please make sure you're trying to use the active Youtube Account connected to your Google Account'. I have a youtube studio account with editor access and also created the oauth credentials in gcp. what am I missing
