I'm happy to announce the launch of AI Verify Playground.

Purpose of the service (Why?)

Installing and configuring AI Verify can be quite a challenge for those who just wish to try out this amazing tool. AI Verify playground offers an opportunity to test the capabilities of the software without having to install and configure it on the local machine or remote server.

I must disclose a personal interest here as well, this service is also a means for me to attract visitors to my portal aiethicsassessor.com and gather contacts for offering my services as an AI Ethics assessor.

The service is built quite robust but I offer no guarantees for its availability or security and such it is not meant for any missing critical delivery. Users are also prohibited from brining confidential data and the platform offers no guarantee for data security or data privacy.

Salient features

Free access to AI Verify Playground for

• easy access to AI Verify without installation or configuration
• performing demo's
• testing out features
• sharing template examples (non confidential)
• educational purposes

On the infrastructure side, the AI Verify Playground has the following salient features

• Its hosted on AWS Fargate Spot which makes it possible for me to offer it for free at an affordable cost.
• The deployment is automated using AWS CoPilot. A handful of steps were performed manually since automation was too complex.
• The storage layer is hosted on EFS (NAS) making the solution resilient to reclamation of spot instances by AWS.
• SSL termination at the load balancer level for additional security.

Limitations

• The AI Verify Playground is by no means production grade software as a service. AI Verify has been designed to be hosted by the practitioners on their desktops and the playground is only intended for educational or testing of features.
• There is no data security or privacy features. Users are prohibited from bringing confidential or critical data. The platform offers NO privacy or security features.
• The service is provided for FREE without any guarantees of availability or protection of assets.
• There is no multi-tenancy, and its a free for all playground to test the software.
• The software page can be accessed directly as I wasn't able to get a ALB working and only a Network Load Balancer. However my request is to access to page only via my sign-up/sign-in page.

Feedback solicited

I would be happy if the AI Verify team decides to add the playground sign up page to its documentation for interested parties to try out the software. As mentioned earlier, this service is offered by me as a marketing tool and hence it works in my favour, if its included in your documentation.
If the developers or users have any feedback regarding this service, I would be happy to incorporate it.

Roadmap

• Additional of EU AI Act template based on capAI whitepaper.
• Creation of additional plugins based on other frameworks for model verification.
• Documentation of AWS CoPilot manifests and procedure to deploy. Will be done via pull request.
• Replacement of AWS NLB with ALB.
• Creation of instructional and promotional videos for usage of the software/platform.
