Q3 Akash Network Events Discussion

Good afternoon Community!

We are at Q3 right now and are looking forward to sharing about the Supercloud this quarter!
Below is what will be put on chain in a week regarding the Q3 events and strategy for smaller, developer focused, and industry events in hubs such as Austin, NYC, LA and San Francisco.

Q3 2025 Events Resourcing Proposal

Overview

This proposal requests funds for events in Q3 2025, per the Akash Events 2025 discussion on GitHub. Overclock Labs is requesting a total of $484,485. The outline of items covered in for a Tier-1 event are listed below.

Tier 1 Event Outline

Total budget per Tier-1 event: $293,485

This is the largest event tier for Akash, and will include the following:

• Attendance for up to 7 core team and community members.
• The highest allocated budget for main event sponsorship. This includes multiple speaking opportunities and a custom 10’ x 20’ booth.
• An Akash-hosted side event to accommodate up to 300 guests.

Hey @vakaytion , thanks for sharing this—it’s awesome to see Akash ramping up its presence, especially with big events like ICML, regional hackathons, and community meetups in SF and NYC. It really feels like the network is growing its footprint across key developer and industry hubs.

I have a couple of questions from a community standpoint:

1. Are there any other events on the radar for Q3 or Q4? Especially in blockchain, AI, or cloud spaces—knowing where Akash will be helps the community plan to attend or support.

2. Also, any plans or interest in doing events closer to India or the APAC region? I’m based in India and would love to get involved if Akash is participating in any developer summits or industry conferences nearby.

Would happily help promote or volunteer locally where I can. Excited to see what this quarter brings!

Thanks for engaging in the discussion.

1. This proposal is just Q3, but Q4 (as of right now) we do have a plethora of events on our radar that are AI and cloud spaces.

• ICML is one of the world's largest Machine Learning and AI events. Our team will be attending along with community members who were available.
• Hackathons and one- days events such as ETH Global NY or Climate Week, are options as well.

2. For Q4 we do plan to attend Token2049 as well as NeurIPS (one blockchain and one AI conference) With smaller summits such as PyTorch, Ray Summit or DevConnect mixed in there.

If you know of any quality developer events in India, please share with us, and additionally if you feel like you might be interested in being on the ground at those events; Adam Wozney would be good to let know as well for a regional lead.
