Need help compiling for ESP32

Hi,
I would love to install Smalltalkje on my ESP32 board, a Sunton ESP32-2432S024C. I started from env:m5stick-c, just changing the board to esp32dev

I've checked out this repo on my Linux (Elementary 8 on AMD64, based on Ubuntu/Noble), removed and freshly set up ~/.platformio.

Then, on building, I get

So, everything looks fine until this error message. Does the ESP port rely on a specific version of the Espressif IDF framework?
