I'm not especially tech literate so please excuse me! I am having trouble getting the program to run on Mandrake (Arch). The instructions say to download the file yarle-evernote-to-md_linux_x86_64.rpm and double click. But this does nothing except extract the archive. I went to my package manager (PAMAC) and found this version https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/yarle-evernote-to-md-bin but I am unable to get this to run either. The error says "could not satisfy dependencies:
removing nodejs breaks dependency 'nodejs>=20.17.0' required by npm". I think this might be because I already have node.js installed for a progam called RSS Guard - https://github.com/martinrotter/rssguard - RSS Guard uses Node.js but says "RSS Guard does not use a global package folder because that requires administrator rights, therefore by default it uses a subfolder placed in your "user data" folder." I think possibly yarle is requiring global node.js and the error is telling me that it cannot install it because I already have a non-global instance and this will be break my program if uninstalled? However, I don't massively want to give node.js admin rights, especially as it is a micros**t program. Can Yarle be installed without global node.js? I also had a go at downloading the Windows executable and running it under Wine but that doesn't seem to be working either. I get the orange screen but none of the toolbar icons seem to be functionning. Any pointers appreciated but please spell it out on words of one syllable, I'm not very good at this stuff yet!
