I suggest providing clarification on trailing commas. Microsoft's VS Code supports them in JSONC, while in regular JSON and some other JSONC variants they're not supported. For what it's worth, I wrote a spec of VSCode's format here since I was fed up with Microsoft not documenting it, and you could refer to that one if you wanted to. Assuming of course that's the exact one you're implementing, and if not, you should perhaps link whatever other spec you're following. My apologies if this is already specified somewhere obvious, but in the README I didn't quite see any info on this.
