Larry, Thanks! Glad it is working for you! Software v2.1 is not yet released yet, but you can preview it if you switch to the fc branch and update: cd Cross Band Repeater is mode 6 or CubeSatSim/config -e and you listen for the downlink 290 MHz below the CubeSatSim transmit frequency. For the default tx of 434.9 MHz, the downlink is at 144.9 MHz FM. The official v2.1 release which also has the experimental FunCube mode 7 or CubeSatSim/config -j will be finalized in a few weeks. After getting command and control working by not fat fingering the little buttons on my HT, I noticed something I missed: Repeater Mode. I did the upgrade to version 2.1 and tried config -e. The repeater function works just like FM sats work. UHF up and VHF down. The CubeSatSim squelch setting was just right and it worked the first time. So now, its a full-fledged satellite with the only thing missing is an orbit. I noted two squelch tails when PTT is released: one from the sat and the other from my receiver. I have to say I played with this until the batteries went dead.
My congrats to Alan and all the developers of the CubeSatSim.
