step 4 in the readme says "run" - can you elaborate?
I've authenticated ("session successfully created. thank you.") but not sure what exactly I'm supposed to run to kick this thing off.

I haven't done much with scrobbyl since it came out. From taking a look a the code, I think you need to run recorder.py to record from the microphone to a file, then run scrobbyl.py with the resulting wav file that gets written

Would love to see a standalone version of this. I'm new to python, especially on my windows machine, which is where I'm trying to run this and having no luck.
