Notification after defined time

I use use this app for different purposes, also for monitoring the expiration date, after opening a product. For that case a notification after a defined amount of time(days) would be great.

I'd also like that feature. Maybe the notification should be optional, for me it'd be enough if there would be a warning icon next to the expired entry, so I can see it when I open the app. But notifications can be great for more important stuff.
