composer.json was changed from PHP 5.5 to PHP 7.0 here: #3712

I am wondering about your thoughts and plans for PHP 8.x

Hello Marc.
There is no plan to support php8 for phraseanet.
Alchemy is working on the new product "Phrasea" (full symfony, react, api, ..., big new functionalities !) (see https://github.com/alchemy-fr/phrasea

Understood. I don't see https://github.com/alchemy-fr/Media-Alchemyst/ used by https://github.com/alchemy-fr/phrasea

Does this mean Media-Alchemyst also has no planned support for PHP8?
