WebMAN PS3NETSERV ISO and Evilnat NOBD

Hi everyone

I'm trying to use my Synology to hold my ISOs and play them on my two PS3s.

One of them has a faulty BD that is therefore unplugged, but it seemed to be causing an issue with the ISO loader as I simply get an error message after the ISO is loaded on the notification corner.

My other PS3 works perfectly fine, ISO loads and launches fine too.

Is it possible to make it work on my faulty BD PS3?

ISO support in Cobra is done intercepting the SCSI commands sent by the BD drive and redirecting the disc reads to the mounted ISO file or to a proxy plugin (netiso in the case of ps3netsrv). If the BD driver is not working, it will be unable to mount or read the emulated BD disc.

You should be able to play your games if you convert the ISOs to JB folder or PKG.

Your best option probably is to repair the broken BD drive or get another PS3 with a working drive.

Piggybacking off this issue - for me, installing the latest noBD CFW and then Webman MOD results in nothing happening - nothing in XMB, even after rebuilding database. Is this app non-functional in noBD CFW?

Read my previous post above yours. ISO is emulated Cobra acting as a man-in-the-middle intercepting the SCSI messages and redirecting the data reads from the BD disc to an ISO file (disc image). If the BD driver is not working, the ISO emulation won't work either.

PKG games and JB folders mounted to app_home/PS3_GAME should work fine on noBD consoles.

Maybe something is completely wrong with my filesystem, then, since the "*PlayStation(R)3" in Games XMB gives error 80028F14. This might be an issue outside of Webman mod. Thanks!
