Vue Compiler Warnings

I wanted to reach out related to a warning that I receive in my terminal when I run slidev with slidev-theme-academic. The warning does not necessarily cause any issues in my workflow or the way presentation is compiled. Therefore, I wasn't really sure if I should report it as an issue or start a discussion about the warning. Here is what I receive in my terminal as a warning:

[@vue/compiler-sfc] withDefaults() is unnecessary when using destructure with defineProps().
Reactive destructure will be disabled when using withDefaults().
Prefer using destructure default values, e.g. const { foo = 1 } = defineProps(...).

Hi @kaanaksit, thanks for using the theme!

It's just a warning but has already been fixed in version v2.0.0 and up. I assume that you're using an older version, so please upgrade if the warning bothers you.

I have removed package-lock.json from my slides repository using rm package-lock.json. Later on, I have updated the following line in package.json:

"slidev-theme-academic": "^1.3.1",

as

"slidev-theme-academic": "^2.1.0",

and run npm install within the root directory of the slides repository. This does resolve the issue as I do not see any warning as I type npm run dev. Thank you for pointing out the version related issues.

But I noticed something, as I ran npm install, I received the following warnings:

To address issues that do not require attention, run:
  npm audit fix

To address all issues (including breaking changes), run:
  npm audit fix --force

Run `npm audit` for details.

and if I run npm audit fix --force in the same root directory of the repository, I get a modified package.json, where slidev-theme-academic is reverted back to ^1.3.0. My package.json looks like this at the time being:

After passing npm upgrade on my terminal, I do not see any warning related to vulnerability issues. I mark your comment as the solution and we can close this discussion. Once again thank you for your support and help and enabling open source community with this amazing presentation style.
