Setting up ente

I am trying to get Ente to run (and work) but I failed.

DISABLE_WEB_UI is off.

ENTE_ENDPOINT_URL is set to http://192.168.123.123:8280 which is my Home Assistant machine.

Ente launches without obvious errors. I can use my phone to create an account on this local instance.

But that's all. Has anyone got this running successfully?

Below are my problems:

Phone app cannot upload

The phone app never manages to upload anything. In the logs of the addon I see many lines like:

Web UI gives HTTP 500 error

Trying to access the Web UI at port 8300 all I get is an nginx HTTP 500 error. The nginx logs show me errors like:
