Television for find and replace

I tend to use sad for batch file editing. It's nice because it allows quickly looking through and selecting/deselecting the diffs of proposed changes prior to batch editing.

Television is great as it is and this is probably outside the goals of this project, but I wonder if it had the ability to configure commands on submit/enter and multi-selection, (e.g. clicking tab to select items) how far off it would be from supporting this sort of batch preview, selection, and editing.

sad does not come with a UI, it uses fzf to perform selection.

Maybe what I'm really getting at is that at some point television could be the tool that projects like sad reach for rather than fzf and I'd think multi-select and command configuration would be necessary at that point.

Hm, thinking more about this and maybe configuration of commands is unnecessary if we can pipe multiple selections to another command. If it was built into television, fd might be a good example of a syntax for this sort of thing that can run in parallel or batched... https://github.com/sharkdp/fd?tab=readme-ov-file#command-execution
