Let's organize who wants to work on what

hey @all-contributors/maintainers ! Thanks to @gr2m we now have a discussion area in this repo where we can talk about all things related to maintenance. Let's use this space to discuss who would like to work on what. I have started to triage pull requests and am working on getting the docs online. I'd love help if anyone wants to help.

Here is a list to get start of things we need to do

1. Triage old issues, close ones that are too old / not useful to implement, label ones we want to work on and potentially move them to a milestone?
2. Get the docs online (there are many sub tasks for this piece)
3. Triage open pr's and merge ones that are straight forward, discuss with pr submittors if we aren't sure what the intent of the pr
4. What else?
