Sensors not updating after installing 2025.6.5

Good day, I just installed the 2025.6.5 and after editing the configuration to get the add-on to run, I'm finding that my previous sensors are not being updated. The log shows my meters being read but my usage graphs have stopped. I'm not sure where to look and whether this is a bug or a configuration issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like I needed to specify a user ID and password. MQTT was griping about an unauthorized connection, so I created a user specific to this add-on in Home Assistant and added it to the config. It seems to be working now.

If you are using the latest version and the Mosquitto addon on home Assistant, you can remove all mqtt settings related to connection: host, port, user, password and the rtlamr2mqtt will get that info for you.

Argh, it WAS working, and I should have left things alone for a while. Last night I upgraded to the latest HA version, and the sensors are broken again. The RTLAMRMQTT log shows data being received and sent to MQTT, and the MQTT log shows the successful connections, but my sensors are not updating. Strange.

I'm having the same issue. I can see that RTLAMRMQTT is getting data from my meters, and I can see MQTT is getting the updates, but the sensors are not receiving any data. @jeffdeal, where you able to find your way through this? Also, there is this note on the main repo page, "Your old entities should be cleaned manually from your MQTT broker". I'm not really following why they need to be cleaned or how?

The new code creates 2 new entities. One as id_readings and other as id_lastseen
If you are using the old entities in your meter integration, then they will not receive any updates, you must change your meter integration and delete the old entity

I got it working too, after downloading MQTT explorer and getting rid of the old entities.
