Hey there, I'm trying to add Alpine 3 to Statamic 3 and am running into the follow error compiling with Laravel Mix 5.0.9 (the newest 5x version).

I removed the ?. syntax and tagged v3.1.1

Was breaking Safari 12 and older as well. v3.1.1 should be all good now
