Add tests for plotting widgets

### Description

The plotting widgets are not currently run, and should be tested directly regardless. In particular, the functions
+ `_histogram_widgets`
+ `_piechart_widgets`
+ `_scatter_widgets`
+ `_timeseries_widgets`

are not currently run in any test.
