Timer resets visually and Pause state is lost when switching or opening tabs

There seem to be synchronization issues regarding the recording state across different tabs:

Timer desync: When recording, if I switch tabs or open a new tab (clicking +), the timer visually resets to 00:00 (even if the recording has been running for a while). It takes some time to sync back up to the real time, or only updates correctly when returning to the original tab.

Pause state inconsistency: If I pause the recording in one tab, the "Paused" state does not persist when I switch to a different tab. The timer continues running in the new tab as if I never paused. Returning to the original tab shows the recording as paused again.

Thanks for reporting, I've just fixed both issues, pause state should now properly persist across tabs, and the timer should be syncing properly too. It's on the latest release, will be available in the Chrome Store soon.
