So, basically this error arises when the software fails to run the opencv_traincascade command. Please check if you can run the opencv_traincascade command on another terminal... if it is isn't running try reinstalling the packages mentioned in the readme file and OpenCV or another way round is downloading the OpenCV source from Github and build the C++ files to get rid of the error.
Please let me know if that works.
