Hybrid i18n in Next.js and Astro

Hey folks,
I'd like to share a series of article I've written while implementing a new i18n system from scratch for the State of JS apps: Hybrid i18n with Next and Astro

I've designed this system with a few constraints that makes the thing interesting:

• No bundler magic, because of the lack of plugins with turbopack/swc
• Not framework specific, I want most of the system to work with both Next and Astro
• Works with hybrid apps so server components/client components
• No unused tokens ever hit the end user's browser. That's a fun constraint, when you add "no bundler magic" :)
