I want to try ppr, but i am not sure what I have to change to use it with next-intl. I started with changing the request.ts to use rootParams and removing the use of setRequestLocale from all file.

I answered myself. Everything works with just doing those two changes. I don't have any build errors.

Did it work well for you? I'm collecting research of mine in #1493. From what I hear from the Next.js team, it's not quite ready yet—that also matched my observations so far.

For the case of just using next-intl yes. For some pages where I use react query the navigation keeps freezing sometimes and some queries are being refetched when they shouldn't. So yeah it isn't production ready for more advanced use cases.

I think the Next.js team is working very actively on PPR and related features, hopefully something for the near future! 🤞
