How do I set up proxy.ts when I already have other settings

I have the following settings in my proxy.ts

  matcher: ["/api/:path*"],
}

Yet next-intl docs say I have to exclude /api/ path from proxy.ts, which is not possible for my use case.

How can I handle cases like this?

You can manually check for !pathname.startsWith('/api') before passing a request to the next-intl middleware in your case.
