Have there been any changes in how amplitude calculates session length in android apps?

Hi, recently we have migrated from @amplitude/react-native to @amplitude/analytics-react-native

And noticed a significative drop in session length on android devices only. Android used to average 7min and how they are around 3min, while for iOS it has always been around 3 minutes.

Were our android sessions length being overestimated before when we were using @amplitude/react-native
