I found you can solve this by creating a /public folder and moving the index.html from the root into that newly created folder. But then you'll get a new series of errors because this sample is relying on older packages.

@maddoxnelson Not sure if this helps, but after trying a number of AMP/React integrations, the one that is working best for me is https://github.com/zeit/next.js/tree/canary/examples/with-amp.

The original repository have the dependencies correctly pin and still work
