Unable to use Paisa with beancount files

Hi,
I'm really interested in using Paisa, but were unable to get it running.

Congrats on the initiative, Ananthakumaran!

What I have tried to far:

• listed all accounts (deeply nested) in the yaml file
• eliminated all "include" directives from my.beancount file (the main ledger file)
• changed configurations: default currency: BRL, locale: en-GB, engine: beancount

The first time I managed to get the my.beancount right, the app opened with a pink overlay showing the beancount errors. Nothing else shows. If I try any of the reports and graphs, I get the message "Oops. It seems you haven't got any transactions in the period selected". The error overlay hasn't appeared anymore when I tried afterwards (the errors are still there though), but nothing shows.

Anybody has had better luck?

Unfortunately I'm unable to contribute, as I'm no professional developer and know only Python. I could write detailed bug reports or improvement ideas though.
