Paroxytone words ending in a consonant different than N or S or multiple consonants carry an accent in Spanish:

• estándar
• cénit
• cóccix
• bíceps
• álbum

If when transcribing these words end up ending in a vowel (most of them I'd say), that accent should be removed:

• êttandâ
• çenî
• côççî
• biçê
• árbun? árbum? arbû? (not sure about this one)
