Backspace not deleting code

Describe the bug
When there are already entered code in say 3 input boxes and then you paste new code, it fills the remaining inputs. When user clicks backspace, it deletes from the front. After all the existing text boxes are cleared, backspace does not work

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Enter 123 code in six input box
2. Paste another six digit code
3. Try to delete the code.

Expected behavior
It should delete all existing and pasted code.
