Cannot select different template for a page

Hello, I use the Björk template and it's super nice.
Anyhow, I can see under Design -> Editor -> Templates, that there is a variety of page templates available.
I have a page where I want to list articles and use one of those templates which is not the default template for a page.
So if I start a new page, it uses the "page" template.
When I want to switch the template to another one, I am only offered to select "no title" or "empty canvas".
It's the same if I try to edit within the page on the right side bar or on the "pages" page.
Do you know how I can fix this?
