Setting volume of device

Hi sorry if this is the wrong space for this, but I can't find any documentation on changing the volume of a device.(or any function called set_volume for that matter) I was able to replicate the example "program to emit a sine wave over the default device" in zig. How would I now change the volume of the default (or any) device or is this not possible with this library?
