Having problems with installing portfolio

I have trouble with npm install with portfolio.
For the previous projects I didn't have any issues.

How i did it

• Cloned the repo
• npm install

What i allready tried

• clone again
• reinstall Xcode

Hope you can help me out so that i can finish your book!

Hi @Tiedje did you install using npm ci to use the NPM shrinkwraped dependencies or did you run an install that also updated dependencies? It seems your dependency chain is not getting setup the same way as the original project.

You can also try to install a fresh copy, by deleting the npm-shrinkwrap.json file, deleting the node_modules and doing a npm install to have the dependencies install and potentially update to more compatible versions.

Worst case, you can make a new Angular CLI project and then step through the setup and install steps you can find in the book and by looking at the commit changes https://github.com/angular-in-action/portfolio/commits/master.
