Visual issues

Hello! I'm interested in rewriting the tab bar rendering code to resolve the visual issues shown below:

Some of these have been present for a while, and some have accumulated with egui updates. (I think a few of them are the fault of the StrokeKind migration.)

• Is there anything I should be aware of when working on this?
• Is it ok to remove the tab body outline stroke and only keep the stroke separating the tab body from the tab bar?
• Is it ok to make breaking changes to the style configuration?

Hi, work on this would be very much welcome. Looking forward to seeing those issues resolved.

To answer your questions:

• Since this is just about adjusting line thicknesses, I don't think there's anything in particular to be worried about. Just make sure that anything you change still looks good when other pieces of style config are changed.
• I think it would be better to make the tab body outline optional.
• Yes! But in such case, make sure that you branch off of release-0.19 instead of main, since before we reach 1.0 (if ever) we only want breaking changes in minor releases.
