jira-cli .. not in interactive mode :: what am i missing?

Followed all steps, have jira-cli working [i.e. init created the config, i can run all commands, etc.].... but it's all in non-interactive mode.

This is on Windows (for now), both cmd and git-bash both work .. non-interactively.

Is there a scoop package I need, or some non-obvious (to me) config parameter I'm missing?
