Is SST v2 still actively maintained?

Same question as posed in anomalyco/sst#6215

Obviously a little different since it's legacy at this point, but it still would be good to understand if there is any roadmap or support at all.

I don't think anyone is expecting major new functionality at this point, but things like new node version support, 3rd party dependency bumps, etc. are important going forward.

Can any maintainers speak to this?

sstv2 has been incredibly valuable to us. We are actively investigating migrating to v3, but have run into some pretty big issues (no webstorm debugging support, vscode debugging performance problems) so far...

Just knowing the plans for ongoing v2 support/maintenance would be really helpful.

Agree -- would love to hear support for the project to be in maintenance mode, even if it's mostly community driven/supported.

No issue with the SST team moving on to bigger & cooler ventures; but this project really has been excellent. It'd be a shame (and challenging) to see it formally deprecated.

Not sure if that would apply here as well, but I could potentially be interested in helping, and it seems like there are a few other regulars that submit changes here that might as well...

I don't believe sst v2 has forked dependencies anymore? I recall https://www.npmjs.com/package/sst-aws-cdk making me a bit nervous before.

As mentioned, it'd be amazing to see light maintenance over time! I don't personally have new feature requests, nor are there any bugs we're known to encounter. My main gripe is always going to be that Cloudformation feels slower than ideal. But just iterating that this project and the local developer experience is still phenomenal!
