Is there a molecule plugin contribution guide?

Hello community,

I'm considering contributing to molecule plugins, but I fail to find any kind of documentation that shows me how to start developing a plugin (or contributing to existing plugins). I.e. how exactly do I start using molecule with a forked plugin repo to start developing?
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
