I would like to inquire whether it would be possible to integrate a password-protected livestream feature into the Community Edition of Ant Media Server. |

Hello @JoqarSabon, Thank you for your interest in Ant Media Server and for sharing your use case around password-protected live streams. Your request makes perfect sense for private events, internal presentations, and closed user groups. However, stream security features such as password-protected access, token-based authentication, and other advanced access control mechanisms are part of the Enterprise Edition of Ant Media Server. The Community Edition is designed to provide core streaming functionality for development, testing, and basic production use cases, but it does not include built-in stream security and access control features. If secure, restricted access to live streams is a requirement for your project, we recommend using the Enterprise Edition, which is specifically built to support these types of professional and business-critical use cases. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like more information about the Enterprise features or licensing options. Best regards, |
