Dark theme not working. Editor got inverted to Light color after Intellij IDEA CE 2023 update

Your X-Code dark theme is definitely my favorite, but after a recent Intellij IDEA CE 2023 update, it got inverted to white (Light color) in my code editor . Despite all of the attempts to adjust it back to Dark light mode in the settings, no positive result was followed.
I'm using MacOS (Ventura).
