Works only when deployed to azure?

Just for my understanding: This method would only work when deployed to azure as functions proxys are not yet supported by the cli (Azure/azure-functions-core-tools#102). Is that correct?

Proxies should be available in V2 CLI now. I haven't personally tested it though. Let me know if the static file server works for V2. I suspect some changes are required.
