[Discussion] Syncing with Android

What is simplest way to sync calendars events/tasks on local network? Which Android app could be good combo with calcure? Ideally I would love to use Syncthing since I already use it to sync all my other stuff.

I'm just curious about other peoples workflows, the calendars rabbit hole is too deep.

For what it's worth, I've had my setup running like this for a couple years now, and am pretty happy with it.

• Home server (local network only, not online) running Radicale (https://radicale.org/v3.html)
• Linux devices sync via vdirsyncer (https://github.com/pimutils/vdirsyncer)
• Android devices sync via DAVx5 (https://www.davx5.com/)

The one downside of this setup is that devices can only sync when in the same network as the home server. The upside is that this way you don't even need a third party/external discovery server.
