Where are defined run variables

I'm just starting to use Apache Hop by importing Kettle workflows.

When I run a workflow, I can set the variables DBNAME and DBBACKROOM.

But I can't find where I defined these variables.

I'm not using an environment (it's just a test), and there are no variables in the pipeline run options.

I need to change/add these variable but .... where ? !

The easiest way to do this is to add an environment (only takes 5 minutes) and set them there.
Where/how did you set those variables in your PDI project? If that was in kettle.properties, that would be very similar to setting them in an environment file.

It looks like I misread your question. I thought you were asking where you could set these variables, but it looks like you're asking where Hop gets these variables from.
If that's the case, you should be able to find where those variables are created with a global search for DBBACKROOM or DBNAME in your project folder.

I now use the environement setings. .... But I always have thees 2 varaibles when I run a workflow..It doesn't matter.
I use a grep command to find the variables in file without result ...
