Best way to do performance profile

I am working on #3059 and I notice the throughput is very bad. I want to profile the program to understand what is slowing the software.

I am from Golang background and pprof was a very convenient tool. Is there something similar in KVRocks or I need to grab a third party profile tool?

I tried to run perf again the binary built by x.py

# perf record -F 99 -p pid -g -- sleep 60
# perf script | ./stackcollapse-perf.pl > out.perf-folded
# cat out.perf-folded | ./flamegraph.pl 

but I get a lot of unknown in the final svg.

BTW, although I was not able to generate a useful profile, I did identify a major bottleneck and removed that, you can see my PR description here: #3061

Turns out most of the unknown can be solved by running perf record -F 99 -p pid -g -- sleep 60 with sudo. The CPU profile does not provide too much info though, I will try off cpu profile.
