I'm trying to customize the colors of some elements in TextMate languages, but I've not succeeded. I've tried with TypeScript files (which use a built-in TM grammar file, I guess) and Kotlin files (which, in my case, use an external TM file, taken from the Visual Studio Code plug-in).
What I'm doing is simply this:
Go to Tools -> Fonts & Colors -> Language: TextMate Languages.
Choose a Category. For example, a very basic one such as keyword.
Set a foreground.
But the change doesn't reflect on the editor. Even after restarting the IDE. Am I doing something wrong?
I've tested this with Netbeans 25 and also with the daily build.
