Better Logs when Federated Gateway Doesn't Update?

I am using the federation stuff which is cool. However, when I push up changes with:

npx apollo service:push...

I get back:

The 'service' service for the 'your-gateway@staging' graph was updated

The gateway for the 'your-gateway@staging' graph was NOT updated with a new schema

Just says the gateway was not updated with the schema and that is it. No mention as to why.

I can't find in the studio where it shows anymore information of what version of the schema is currently deployed to the gateway. Or if I restart the gateway did it pull the correct/latest version?

There is just a total lack of knowing what is going on.

I feel like I am missing something obvious, but not sure where to look.

Do I need to set a debug statement that I am unaware of on the gateway to see?
