Feature or enhancement request details

The local DNS service in container should handle AAAA as well as A queries for containers:

  • The network helpers should allocate MAC addresses and associated link-local IPv6 addresses.
  • The DNS service should respond to AAAA queries similarly to how A queries are handled.
