Executor not assignable to SyncExecutor

When I am doing the graphql-tools v8 upgrade, I have run into the following type mismatch issue.

  Overload 1 of 2, '(executor: SyncExecutor<Record<string, any>, Record<string, any>>, context?: Record<string, any> | undefined, options?: (Partial<IntrospectionOptions> & GraphQLSchemaValidationOptions & ParseOptions) | undefined): GraphQLSchema', gave the following error.
    Argument of type 'Executor<Record<string, any>, Record<string, any>>' is not assignable to parameter of type 'SyncExecutor<Record<string, any>, Record<string, any>>'.
      Type 'MaybePromise<MaybeAsyncIterableIterator<ExecutionResult<TReturn>>>' is not assignable to type 'ExecutionResult<TReturn>'.
        Type 'AsyncIterableIterator<ExecutionResult<TReturn>>' has no properties in common with type 'ExecutionResult<TReturn>'.
  Overload 2 of 2, '(executor: AsyncExecutor<Record<string, any>, Record<string, any>>, context?: Record<string, any> | undefined, options?: (Partial<IntrospectionOptions> & GraphQLSchemaValidationOptions & ParseOptions) | undefined): Promise<...>', gave the following error.
    Argument of type 'Executor<Record<string, any>, Record<string, any>>' is not assignable to parameter of type 'AsyncExecutor<Record<string, any>, Record<string, any>>'.
      Type 'MaybePromise<MaybeAsyncIterableIterator<ExecutionResult<TReturn>>>' is not assignable to type 'Promise<MaybeAsyncIterableIterator<ExecutionResult<TReturn>>>'.
        Type 'ExecutionResult<{ [key: string]: any; }, { [key: string]: any; }> & { data?: TReturn | null | undefined; extensions?: Record<string, any> | undefined; }' is missing the following properties from type 'Promise<MaybeAsyncIterableIterator<ExecutionResult<TReturn>>>': then, catch, finally, [Symbol.toStringTag]

Let me see if I can create an example setup for this.

I had a similar issue when using wrapSchema. The solution was to install a more recent version of wrapSchema as the one which came with @graphql-tools, so I run npm i @graphql-tools/wrap and everything worked out.
