Arduino IDE does not release Serial Port after programming.

I am using an Leonardo board.

After I startup the IDE (1.0.5), I see the Leonardo serial port at Tool -> Serial Port (COM21)

I am able to compile and upload to the Leonardo once.

After the new code is running the Tool -> Serial Port (COM21) is now missing.

Device manager does show the port is installed.

Unpluging the Leonardo board and waiting about 30 seconds, sometimes COM21 comes back. (mostly not)

Can anyone please check the code to see where the problem is.

I have moved on from the Leonardo board.

But since there is new software. I will check this out and report. ( this weekend )
