Request - DeadStorm Pirates (Vanilla Edition) - Namco System 357

Hi Argonlefou,

Is it possible to have a new DemulShooter release compatible with the arcade edition of DeadStorm Pirates (not special edition)?

I tried with version 17.1 but PPU Cache Patch fails since the Special Edition differs from the Vanilla Edition in the cache PPU Files.

Hi,

I was not aware of another - not Special Edition - version of Dead Storm.

Unfortunatelly, the old computer I used (with the old CPU) to generate some kind of "universal" PPU patched files is no longer at home.
I now have only recent Ryzen cpu, meaning the pathced PPU files would not be compatible with a lot of people hardware.

On top of that, I'm not sure to properly remember how to find and hack PPU files...it was a long time ago and a 1-shot thing.

Output, though, may be something doable if I can put my hands on that version
So I'm letting that ticket opened for now, but only for outputs
