[Aurora] parCon hangs

Describe the bug
On Aurora, the code hangs in parCon after the SDK update.

• Aurora specific (need verify)

• Size related. Smallest case is E=69M cht N=7 (700 nodes). Some other smaller cases still works.

This issue is bypassed when the case doesn't have periodic.
