I've been working with ArgoCD for several years now, and I wanted to share something fun I've created: argocd-themes

The story behind it

A few years ago, we had a production incident because someone confused our staging and production ArgoCD instances (they looked identical since we didn't use the custom banner 🙈). That's when I decided to create my first custom theme to make them easily distinguishable.
I started with Harry Potter house themes - Slytherin for prod, Ravenclaw for staging - and it worked great! It became so popular that I kept creating more themes over time. It's been a fun way to add some color and personality to our daily work with ArgoCD.

I wanted to share this project publicly for two reasons:

-> To thank you for the amazing work you've done on ArgoCD - it's been a pleasure to use over the years 🙏

Each theme comes in two variants:

• Base: Simple color palette changes, but status/icon colors stay the same
• Advanced: Base changes but with status/icon colors modification

Next theme?

I'm planning to add Lord of the Rings themes next (Mordor?). If anyone has theme ideas or wants to contribute, feel free to open an issue or PR!
