Is it possible to run the report from browser using URL ? I need href to run Detail-Report from the saved Master-report in a html-format. This is the scenario, which I use in MS SSRS and I wish to reproduce it in SealReport. |

I don't know if it works with a GET but you need at least javascript to get the session id from the login, it may work |

Well, I can add to cell using ReportDesigner.CellEditor some code like this: } This script works perfectly when the report executes in ReportViewer. I need open saved master-report in html, than click on the column with hyperlink to run Detail-report from SealReport web-service. Is it possible to save these hyperlinks created with cell script to html? |

It seems to me, that SealReport doesn't support the above scenario out of the box right now. To support the described scenario we need have in the SealReport web service the following features:

well, with the current Seal Report Server, you need to login and have a security context to execute report a report from an html page. Another approach could be to set the session id keep in the links when the first report is generated, and keep the web session live for several hours (depends on your web server), You might also recompile the Web Server to bypass the security... |

Then I open previosly saved Master-report.html and try to find working reference to Detail-report. Nothing happens. There is not an alive reference to Detail-report. Am I doing something wrong? |

Moreover, after above changes SealWebService returns in browser instead of root with its reports an empty (blank) data. There is in browser only upper bar |

Well, I have returned public bool IsAuthenticated to the original state and SealWebService shows now starting page correctly. |

I hope that I've solved my requirements (I'm going to follow testing).

It seems to me, that the described approach could be a comfortable way to integrate SealReport with other parts of an distributed system. I suppose that it would be convenient to have in the SealWeb-service API the support of the GET method out of the box. With this GET API support out of the box I'd implement my scenario without the creation of an proxyWeb-service. |

More about security. I'd like the ability to switch off/switch on that security. I suppose, that the switched off security may be usefull for the debugging or for intranet scenario. Default value should be "switched on", of course. |

Well done if you manage to do it.
Could be an evolution to support direct execution through URL but I guess we have to add a security token (with expiration) to handle the security, or even better, encrypt the URL generated,
I note that for the roadmap of the product...contributors are welcome !
